About Us
Ferrari Moe, LLP is a medium size, full service architecture and engineering firm located in San Rafael, California. We specialize in dealing with waterproofing related issues and remedial repair design. Our clients include architects, developers, contractors, public and private institutions, private homeowners, homeowner associations, attorneys, and corporate entities. We work on projects of all sizes and types, from steel framed skyscrapers to wood framed houses.
Architectural Diagnostics and Remedial Repair Design
We specialize in the investigation and evaluation of building failures especially as they relate to water intrusion through waterproofing membranes, curtain walls, window systems, roofs, wall claddings, and building joints. We conduct investigations into building failures and develop remedial design solutions to correct the failures. We develop full working drawings and specifications in house, and we administer the contract in the field during construction.
Waterproofing Design
We are frequently asked to participate in the design and construction of projects as the waterproofing consultant. In this role we have worked directly for the Architect, Developer, General Contractor, and Owner. We enjoy developing sound, financially sensitive solutions to difficult waterproofing problems. Our staff regularly attends seminars and conferences related to waterproofing design and materials.
Litigation Support
We work for both plaintiff and defense attorneys involved in construction litigation. We have experience with many different building types and systems. We have represented Homeowners Associations, Private Owners, General Contractors, Developers, Architects, Framers, and other Sub-Contractors.
Architectural Design
We offer full architectural design services from initial schematic design through construction administration.
Structural Engineering
We offer structural engineering solutions including structural retrofit, seismic upgrades, structural design for new construction, and remedial structural design to address failures or deficiencies.
Construction Management
Our construction management division provides owner's representative services and expertise specially tailored to meet client needs. This includes a thorough management plan and effective leadership to carry it out. We actively manage the critical issues of time, cost, scope and quality from project inception through final closeout an delivery.
